<br />TWENTY —NINTa SESSION —FIRST DAY.
<br />TowN HAIL, Klxoavu,LS, June 16, 1863.
<br />The Council met pursuant to adjournment. Present —All except
<br />Delisie and Park.
<br />Moved by Mr. Coate, seconded by Mr. Shay. That this Council do
<br />now adjourn to meet again on Monday, the 29th instant, in the'Town
<br />hall, Kingsville.
<br />Moved in amendment by Mr. Bray, seconded by Mr. Montreuil, That
<br />this Council adjourn to meet, an the 29th instant, at Sandwich. Upon
<br />the vote being taken on the amendment it resulted as follows:
<br />Yeas — Messrs. McKee, Bray, Montreuil, McMahon, Chambers and
<br />Cignac -6.
<br />Nays— Messrs. Langlois, Reaumet Russell, T. Wigle, S. Wigle, Tru-
<br />dell, Coate, Knapp and Shay -9.
<br />The amendment was lost. The original motion was then put and
<br />carried. The vote being:
<br />Yeas—Mears. Langlois, Reaume, Russell, T. Wigle, S. Wigle, Shay,
<br />Costs, Trudell, Knapp and Bray --10.
<br />Nays— Messrs. McKee, Montreuil, Giopoac, Chambers ds McMahon --6.

<br />The' Cou11c1 met pursuant too adjournment. The roll was called.
<br />prssent– Messrs. Bray, Chambers, Coate, Delisle, Gignac, Knapp,
<br />Langlois, McKee, McMahon, Montreuil, Park, Russell, Shay, Trudell,
<br />Solomon, Wigle and Theodore Wigle.
<br />The minutes of the 16th instant were read and adopted.
<br />Mr. Parr moves, seconded by Mr. Coate, That in consequence of the
<br />absee of the Warden, through ill health, Mr. Solomon Wigle be
<br />nc
<br />appointed Chairman pro tem. of this Council. Carried.
<br />Mr. Costa gives notice that he will, to-morrow morniugg
<br />move for the
<br />appointment of a committee to equalize the Assessment 110ils4
<br />Mr. Ohamber@ fives notice that be will, to- morrow, introduce the
<br />Petition of *HenrJ amilton and otheM reepectinlr the @object of drain'
<br />ego on the town line between Maidstone and Goefield.
<br />Also the petition of Sohn MoKanasJ praying remuneration for work
<br />done on town line between Sandwich East a" Maidstone.
<br />Mr, Costa moves, seconded by Mr. T. Wigle, That this Council do
<br />now adjourn to meet tee - morrow morning at 9 o'clock. Carried.
