County of Essex The Corporation of the County of Essex By-Law Number 05-2015 A By-law to Amend By-law Number 26-2002, Being a By- law to Regulate Traffic and Parking on Highways within the Essex County Roads System. Whereas By-law Number 26-2002, being a by-law to regulate traffic and parking on highways within the Essex County Roads System, was adopted by the Corporation of the County of Essex on October 16th, 2002; And Whereas Section 4.2(d) of By-law Number 26-2002 provides that when properly worded or marked Signs have been erected and are on display, no person shall Stop, stand or Park any Vehicle on any Highway or part of Highway set out in Schedule "A"; And Whereas Section 5.5 (a) of By-law Number 26-2002 provides that when authorized Signs have been erected and are on display, the provisions of Subsections 1, 2, 3 and 4 of Section 122 of The Highway Traffic Act apply to the Highways named in Column 1 of Schedule "K" , from the location or Highway named and/or described in Column 2 of the said Schedule to the location or Highway named and/or described in Column 3 of the said Schedule, for the period from the 1st day of March to the 30th day of April, inclusive in each and every year, or for a period established by the County Engineer in accordance with Section 5.5 (b) of By-law Number 26-2002; And Whereas Section 5.6 (a) of By-law Number 26-2002 provides that when authorized Signs have been erected and are on display, the provisions of Subsections 1, 2, 3 and 4 of Section 122 of the Highway Traffic Act apply to the Highways named in Column 1 of Schedule "L" to this By -law, from the location or Highway named and /or described in Column 2 of the said Schedule to the location or Highway named and /or described in Column 3 of the said Schedule, at all times; And Whereas it is deemed expedient to provide for additional or amend existing parking restrictions, and limit loads on certain Highways under the jurisdiction of the Corporation of the County of Essex;
