<br />A By -law to provide for the current expenses of the County of EsRex for the year

<br />WilzazAs, it is necessary to provide the sum of $14,490 to defray the expenses Of the County of Essex in accordance with the eKtimate of the Finance Committee:
<br />AND WHEREAS, for the purpose of raising the said sum of $14,490 it will rtgQire �
<br />rate of 21-4 mills on the dollar upon all rateable property in the said County a
<br />Essex: Of
<br />Be it therefore enacted by the Corporation of the County of Es.4ex in Conncil �,
<br />sembled and it is hereby enacted that there shall be raised, levied and coll,ct
<br />rate of 21-4 mills on the dollar upon all rateable property in the •itid Cuuated i
<br />Esrtez for the purpose of raising the said salni of $14,490 in w1,11tioa to the otlier i of
<br />and assessments for and during the present year for the general expenses of the curt tit
<br />year.
<br />Be it further enacted that the gum of one dollar and fifty cents be paid to 040 a
<br />every Grans and Petit Juror for each day's attendance at any Court of A... a,j
<br />Piius, and General Sewions of the Peace and County Court, and the furtller su
<br />ten cents per mile necessarily travelled by sues person from hi 14 plaue of rebi r4 01
<br />to the Court House of the said Couuty, according to the pay list to be kept byes oe
<br />Sheriff of the said County, he
<br />And be it also enacted that the Sheriff of the asid County 8h ;%ll be entitled to
<br />eeive the following sums and no mnre for the services perforwed hJ him ut, r r4.
