<br />A By.1aw to raise certain moneys for the improvement of certain roads and bridges
<br />to the County of Essex.
<br />Passed June 15th, 1883.
<br />WHIRBAS. it is expedient to raise moneys for the improvement of certain roads and
<br />bridges in the County of Easex:
<br />Be it therefore enacted by the Council of the Corporation of the County of Lrsses
<br />in Council anslemhlyd and it in hereby enacted under the antbority of the same and
<br />under and by virtue of the Municipal Act of Ontario that there be shall raised, levied
<br />and collude i the sum of $9660 upon the whole rateable property in the County of
<br />$,sex, in addition to 1ti1 other rates and -assessments imposed, for the improvement
<br />of certain roads and bridges in the County of Ewen.
<br />Be it farther enacted that the said sum of $9660 to be raised, levied 'and oollecte .
<br />sfi aforesaid shall be expended as set forth in the schedule hereunder written, wh"
<br />schedule shall form part of this By -law.
<br />Anti Ile it further enacted that the whole work to be done and performed so afore-

<br />sioner or commissioners letting the same on bebalf of the County Corporation and
<br />that all sums be paid by the 'rreamarer of the County upon a certificate being pro-
<br />duced from the said commissioner or commissioners letting the. same of the wort
<br />haviig been pterfitrmed according to contract.
<br />And be it further enacted that the several oommissioners so appointed to superia-
<br />tend tue letting of the work to be done as aforesaid "hall receive four per tent up"
<br />cea'racts entered into oy them under the provisions of this By -law.
<br />Be it further enituted that the several cOmmis"ionera aforesaid under this By -law
<br />be and they are hereby required to send a report of the manner` in which the teepee.
