Be it therefore enacted by the County. Council of the county that the following rules of order be and they are hereby adopted as the rules of order of the said council. MEETINGS AND ADJOURNMENT& 1. That on the first day of each session, the council` shall w semble at the hour of 2 o'clock p. m., and and on all other days as agreed by motion of the previous day. 2. That at the first meeting, of the council in each year, the clerk shall call the council to order; call the roll containing the names of the members of the council, and request nominations for warden+ anti after - a delay of half an hour, if two or more candidates are nominated, shall open a poll, ask each member distinctly for whom he votes, record the votes, and when a candidate has received a ma- jority of the votes, declare him elected. S. That upon a quorum being assembled, the Warden shall take the chair, call the members to order, and the clerk shall call the roll. 4. The warden shall preserve order and decorum, decide all questions of order, subject to an appeal to the council, and without argument or comment, shall state the rule applicable to anY point Ot order or practice when called upon. b. That less than a quornun may meet, but shall not hava pow to consider any question except an adjournment. 6. That in the absence of the Warden, the clerk shall call the council to order, and the members present shall then elect a cam` meu, who shall preside until the arrival of the Warden. MINUTES. 7. The minutes of the council shall consist of a record of th's names of the members present and of all proceedings of the council* All reports made by committees to the council, and not adopted in their original form, shall, at the request of any member of the eonne" be printed in the minutes as reported, as well as all reports adopt by the council.
