ESSEX-WINDSOR SOLID WASTE AUTHORITY <br /> <br />Essex County Civic and Education Centre <br />Room "E" <br /> Tuesday, November 20, 2001 <br /> 4:30 p.m. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />EWSWA: <br /> <br />County- Deputy Mayor Morley Bowman (in place of Joan Flood), Mayor <br />Pat Hayes, Deputy Mayor Mike Raymond, Mayor Ed Renaud and Warden <br />Pat O'Neil <br />City - Councillor David Cassivi (Acting Chair), Councillor Fulvio Valentinis, <br />Councillor Tom Wilson, and Mayor Mike Hurst <br /> <br />EWSWA Staff: Todd Pepper, Eli Maodus, Cam Wright and Sue White <br /> <br />City Staff: <br />County of Essex <br /> <br />Gord Harding <br />Mary Brennan and Rob Maisonville <br /> <br />97-01 <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mr. Cassivi assumed the Chair as Acting Chairman for the meeting. <br /> <br />Warden Pat O'Neil read a letter from Chair Joan Flood advising <br />that, due to health reasons, she would be resigning from the Essex- <br />Windsor Solid Waste Authority and had asked the Warden, on <br />behalf of County Council, to appoint another member of County <br />Council to fill the vacant position immediately. Mr. O'Neil noted that <br />Mr. Morley Bowman, Deputy Mayor of the Town of Essex, had <br />been appointed by the members of Essex County Council to sit on <br />the Authority until December 31, 2001. Mr. Cassivi welcomed Mr. <br />Bowman on behalf of the members of the Authority. <br /> <br />Moved by Tom Wilson <br />Seconded by Ed Renaud <br />THAT a letter of appreciation be forwarded to Mrs. Flood for the <br />work she has accomplished over the years while serving on the <br />Authority. <br /> --CARRIED. <br /> <br /> <br />
