ESSEX-WINDSOR SOLID WASTE AUTHORITY <br /> <br />Essex County Civic and Education Centre <br />Room "C" <br /> Tuesday, July 10, 2001 <br /> 4:30 p.m. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />EWSWA: <br /> <br />County - Mayor Pat Hayes, Deputy Mayor Mike Raymond, Mayor Ed <br />Renaud and Warden Pat O'Neil <br />City - Councillor David Cassivi, Councillor Tom Wilson (Chair) and Mayor <br />Mike Hurst <br /> <br />Absent: <br /> <br />Chair Joan Flood and Councillor Fulvio Valentinis <br /> <br />EWSWA Staff: <br /> <br />Todd Pepper, Eli Maodus, Cam Wright, Ralph Reiser and Sue <br />White <br /> <br />City Staff: <br />County of Essex <br />Others <br /> <br />Marlo latonna and Helga Reidel <br />Mary Brennan and Rob Maisonville <br />Cliff Sutts, Sutts Strosberg LLP <br /> <br />= <br /> <br />= <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />In the absence of Chair Flood, Mr. Cassivi, the Vice-Chair, <br />assumed the Chair, welcomed the members and called the meeting <br />to order. <br /> <br />DECLARATION OF INTEREST <br /> <br />Mr. Wilson questioned if Mr. Hayes would have a conflict of interest <br />in the matter of the Notice of Motion dealing with the payment in <br />lieu of taxation to the Town of Lakeshore on the 1999 and 2000 <br />invoices. Mr. Hayes stated that it was up to the individual to <br />declare a conflict of interest. <br /> <br />No disclosure of interest was noted. <br /> <br />DELEGATIONS <br /> <br />The Acting Chair noted that the Ontario Greenhouse Vegetable <br />Growers Board had asked to appear as a delegation to discuss the <br />report on greenhouse waste. <br /> <br /> <br />
