Stewart - <br />Bondy Riley Koski Stewart <br /> <br />Call To Order <br /> <br />The Chairman welcomed everyone and called the meeting to <br />order. <br /> <br />Declaration of Interest <br /> <br />There was no declaration of interest noted. <br /> <br />Deleqation <br /> <br />A) Township of Maidstone <br /> <br />Mr. Bob Croft, Mayor of the Township of Maidstone, <br />appeared before the Authority to discuss the <br />Closure and end use plan for Landfill No. 3. <br /> <br />Mr. Croft acknowledged that during the public <br />consultation meeting held to discuss the proposed <br />closure and end use plan, 31 people from the <br />Township of Maidstone provided comments. Mr. Croft <br />stated that 31 people did not reflect the full view <br />of Township residents and advised that his Council <br />had been receiving many requests to use the <br />landfill, once it was closed, for some sort of <br />recreational activity. <br /> <br />Mr. Croft suggested that a feasibility study, to be <br />funded by the Authority, should be undertaken to <br />determine what type of recreational use would best <br /> <br /> <br />
