Martin <br /> <br />65/95 <br /> <br />Call To Order <br /> <br />The Chairman welcomed everyone and called the meeting to <br />order. <br /> <br />Declaration of Interest <br /> <br />There was no declaration of interest noted. <br /> <br />Minutes of Meetinqs <br /> <br />Moved by Mayor Hurst <br />Seconded by Warden Miller <br />THAT the March 7, 1995 minutes of EWSWA be adopted and the <br />March 2, 1995 minutes of the Alternative Methods Sub- <br />Committee, be received. <br /> --CARRIED. <br /> <br />Correspondence <br /> <br />A) Toronto Environmental Alliance re CIPSI Dated February <br /> <br />1, 1995 <br /> <br />Committee members reviewed a letter from the Toronto <br />Environmental Alliance requesting support for the <br />following: <br /> <br />That the Province of Ontario immediately return to <br />100% use of refillable containers for soft drinks; <br /> <br />That the Province of Ontario immediately resume <br />enforcement of its regulatory requirements with <br />regard to soft drinks; <br /> <br />That the soft drink industry assume financial <br />responsibility for its sales distribution system <br />and for the reintroduction of refillable <br />containers; <br /> <br /> <br />
