Harding <br /> <br />Call to Order <br /> <br />Chairman Chaplin welcomed the members to the meeting and <br />called the meeting to order. <br /> <br />Declaration of Interest <br /> <br />Mr. Duncan declared a conflict of interest during discussion <br />of an item in the in-camera session. Mr. Duncan's spouse was <br />employed by the firm of Gignac Sutts. During discussion of <br />this item, Mr. Duncan left the room. <br /> <br />Deleqations <br /> <br />The Chair noted that there would not be the delegations from <br />the firms of Browning-Ferris Industries and HGC Management had <br />been cancelled. <br /> <br />4 o <br /> <br />Minutes of the April 19, 1994 EWSWA Meetinq <br /> <br />The Committee considered the April 19, 1994 minutes of the <br />EWSWA. <br /> <br />Moved by Mr. Duncan <br />Seconded by Mr. Renaud <br />THAT the April 19, 1994 minutes of the EWSWA meeting be <br />adopted. <br /> --CARRIED. <br /> <br />5 o <br /> <br />Future Landfill Methods Sub-Committee <br /> <br />The Committee reviewed the April 14, 1994 minutes of the <br />Future Landfill Methods Sub-Committee. Ms. Cecile Douglas <br />advised that an itinerary was being prepared to tour <br />balefill/shredding facilities. She noted that presently, <br />plans were being made to leave Detroit on July 5, 1994 in the <br />evening, tour five facilities with the last stop being made in <br />New Jersey on July 8, 1994.
