JK/sm Windsor, Ontario, March 28, 2007 A meeting of the Board of Directors of the Convention and Visitors Bureau of Windsor-Essex County and Pelee Island is held this day commencing at 4:00 o'clock p.m. at the Canadian Club Brand Centre, 2072 Riverside Dr. East, W., Windsor, Ontario there being present the following: Bill Marra, City Council Drew Dilkens, City Council Chris Melnyk, Accommodation Joe Colasanti, Attractions Mark Boscariol, DWBIA Rick Masse, Pelee Island Council Rita Ossington, Festivals Carolyn Brown, Windsor & District Chamber of Commerce Lynnette Bain, Accommodation Gary Baxter, Essex County Council Also present are the following: John Skorobohacz, Chief Administrative Officer Gordon Orr, Managing Director Michael Chantler, (A) Director of Membership Services & Communications Sandra Bradt, Director of Tourism Jackie Korosec, Council Committee Coordinator Regrets: Danielle Stuebing, Eco- Tourism Patricia Nicholl, Gaming Grace Zec, Restaurants Janet Jones, Ministry of Citizenship, Culture, Tourism & Recreation 1. CALL TO ORDER * The Committee Coordinator calls the meeting to order at 4: 12 o'clock p.m. and the Board considers the agenda being Schedule "A" attached hereto, matters which are dealt with as follows: 2. ELECTION OF CHAIR AND VICE CHAIR The Committee Coordinator opens the floor for nominations of Chair of the CVB Board of Directors. M. Boscariol nominates Drew Dilkens. Moved by M. Boscariol, seconded by R. Ossington, That Drew Dilkens BE ELECTED as Chair of the Convention & Visitors Bureau Board of Directors for the term ending March 2009. Carried.
