JK/ct Windsor, Ontario, December 12, 2006 A meeting of the Board of Directors of the Convention and Visitors Bnrean of Windsor- Essex County and Pelee Island is held this day commencing at 4:00 o'clock p.m. at the Holiday Inn Select, 1855 Huron Church Rd., Windsor, Ontario there being present the following: Rita Ossington, Festivals Danielle Breault, Ecotourism Chris Melnyk, Accommodation Grace Zec, Restaurants Lynnette Bain, Accommodation John Adams, Essex County Council Joe Colasanti, Attractions Rick Masse, Pelee Island Council Carolyn Brown, Chamber of Comrnerce Also present are the following: John Skorobohacz, Chief Administrative Officer Sergio Grando, Executive Director, Hospitality & Corporate Facility Planning Gordon Orr, Managing Director Michael Chantler, (A) Director of Membership Services & Communications Sandra Bradt, Director of Tourism Tom Wilson, Past Chairman, CVB Board of Directors Janet Jones, Ministry of Citizenship, Culture, Tourism & Recreation Jackie Korosec, Council Committee Coordinator Regrets: Councillor Caroline Postma Mark Boscariol Leslie Durham 1. CALL TO ORDER Clerk's Note: Until Striking Committee meets again to confirm a new term of Council Committees, Rita Ossington will assume the role of Chairperson. * The Chairperson calls the meeting to order at 4: 15 .o'clock p.m. and the Board considers the agenda being Schedule "AU attached hereto, matters which are dealt with as follows: 2. ADOPTION OF THR MlNlJTES Moved by J. Colasanti, seconded by G. Zec, That the minutes of the meeting held November 8, 2006 BE ADOPTED as presented. Carried. G. Zec strongly encourages the Striking Committee to meet as soon as possible so that a new term for the CVB Board can be established and move forward.
