It is aimed at <br />determining whether or not Windsor, Essex County and Pelee Island is a region that is top of <br />mind for tourists considering their travel options, or whether the region is a Premier-ranked <br />tourist destination. In order to accomplish this goal, extensive research was conducted and <br />the results were evaluated in relation to the project's three primary and accompanying <br />secondary criteria: <br /> <br />Product <br /> <br />a) distinctive core attractions <br />b) quality and critical mass <br />c) satisfaction and value <br />d) accessibility <br />e) accommodations base <br /> <br />Performance <br /> <br />a) visitation <br />b) occupation and yield <br />c) critical acclaim <br /> <br />Futurity <br /> <br />a) destination marketing <br />b) product renewal <br />c) managing within carrying capacities <br /> <br /> <br />
