Hinz, Manager of Plant Operations, <br />Essex County Board of Education <br /> <br />Call to Order <br /> <br />Chairman Miller welcomed all and called the meeting to order. <br /> <br />Disclosure of Pecuniary Interest <br /> <br />No disclosure of pecuniary interest was noted. <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />/94 <br /> <br />Award of Tender - Roof Replacement <br /> <br />Mr. Gregg presented a report (attached) which discussed the condition of <br />the existing roof and the need to take remedial action. The report noted <br />that funds had been provided in the 1994 budget to complete the first year <br />of a projected three year roof replacement program. <br /> <br />Mr. Hinz presented the rationale for completing the project at one time, <br />reviewed the technical specifications contained in the tender call and <br />discussed the results of the tender call. <br /> <br />Following discussion with respect to how the project should be financed, <br />it was, <br /> <br />Moved by Mr. Davison <br />Seconded by Mr. Buckrell <br />THAT the roof replacement tender be awarded to the low bidder, Horizon <br />Roofing in the amount of $215,522.00; and further that the necessary <br />financing be arranged through one of the owners, with repayment by the <br />Building Operating Fund to be completed by no later than 1996. <br /> --CARRIED. <br /> <br /> <br />
