Winter for meat, Julius Delirden for bread, C. Haggart for wood, and J. B. GauthW for groceries be accepted, theirs being the lowest tenders„ upon their turn ishrng.satisfactory sureties for the due performance of the •proposed contracts. Carried. Mr. Ray gives notice that he will to-morrow introduce a petition froaa John Stone, attmi others, relative to the issumtn; of new mad, which has just been surveyed between Maidstone and Rochester.
