<br />Whereas it is deemed expedient to assume as a County Road that POP
<br />lion of Sandwich Street, situated within the lirnit;a of the Town of liw
<br />herstburg, a portion of which :s already macadamized.
<br />Be it therefore enacted by the County Cemicil of the corporation ofthe
<br />county of Essex, in Council a�semblert, that that portion of Sandwich Street,
<br />situated within the limits of the Town of Anihersibur, a portion of which is
<br />already macadamized, be assumed as a County Road.

<br />By -Law to levy a Tax in the County of Essex, for the improvemeist of
<br />County Roads.
<br />PASSED 24% June, 1865.
<br />Whereas it is expedient to raise the sum of two thousand fire ban -
<br />dred and sixty dollars, for the improvement of certain roads and bridges in the
<br />County of Essex.
<br />.1st. —Be it enacted by the Council of the corporation of the County of
<br />Essex, in Council assembled, under and by virtue of the Canada Municipal
<br />Act, and it is hereby enacted by the authority of the same, that there shall
<br />be raised, levied and collected tfie said sum of two thousand five hundred
<br />and sixty dollars upon the whole rateable property in the said County of
<br />Essen, in addition to all other rates and asse,asments 'imposed, for the im-
<br />provement of vertaiu roads uad bridges in the County of Emsex.
<br />ltd. —Be it enacted that the said &urn of two thousand five hundred
<br />and sixty dollars to be raised and levied as aloresaid, shall be expended as
<br />follows: That is to say, the sum of three hundred and forty dollars on the
<br />Town Line between Lake Shore and Alexander Ouellette's, Messrs. Shipley
<br />and Ferris, commissioners to expend the same.
<br />Thee Turn of two hundred dollars, on the Township Line between Aa-
<br />derdon and Colchester, Thomas and McLean, commisbioners.
<br />The auto of two hundred dollars, on the Town Line between idaldea
<br />and Colchester, Atkin and Ferris, commissioners,
<br />The sum of eighty-five dollars, on the Town, Line between Saadwiek
<br />East and Sandwich West, Montrieul, Langlois and Maisonvide, eominis.
