BY-LAWS. <br />. <br />BYLAW NO. 79. —To alloixt a Treasurer for the eonsty of Essex <br />,aid for other purposes. <br />Passed 11th October, 1881. <br />Whereas the municipal council of the corporation of the county of <br />Essex in Council assembled, did on the 10th day of October A. D. 1882 <br />by vote duly elect Thomas H. Wright of the town of Aniberstbargh, in <br />the county of Vasex, Esquire, Treasurer of the said county of Essex. <br />let. Be it therefore enacted by the municipal Council of the Corpora. <br />tion of the county of Essex in Council assembled, that the raid Z hump <br />H. Wright be and he is hereby appointed to all intents and purposes <br />the Treasurer of the said county of Essex, who sbrll enter upon the <br />duties of said office as soon as be shall have executed the necessary <br />bonds for the due performance of the duties of said office, and the ac. <br />counting for all moneys that may be received by him, and he shall be <br />entitled to all fees and emoluments to be bereafter deriv d therefrom. <br />2nd. Be it further enacted that the said Thomas H, Wright shall be <br />entitled to receive a salary of $600 per annum for his services as Treasu- <br />rer of the said county of Essex. <br />Srd. And be it further enacted that the salary to be paid to the said <br />Thomas H. Wright shall be paid by warrant upon the 'Treasurer of the <br />said county of Essex quarterly, and that the Walden is hereby authorised <br />and required to sign the warrants for the payment of the acid 8&1*1 as <br />the same may become due, and that upon the said warrants being duly <br />signed by the Warden of the said county, the Auditors are bereb' re. <br />quired to audit and sign the same, upon which said warrant so signed <br />and audited the Treasurer of the said county is bereby required to pay <br />the some to the officer mentipued in the by law as the same may be. <br />come due.
