<br />WHEREAS, The census returns-of the uniscorporated Vilh,
<br />d Belle River, with its immediate neighborhood, taken under tlk
<br />da"tioo of the Council of the County of Essex, show that the aame
<br />consists of over seven hundred and fifty inhabitants.
<br />And whereas the residences of such inhabitants are suSciently
<br />aser to form an incorporated village.
<br />And whereas one hundred resident freeholders and householders
<br />the said Village of Belle River and neighborhood, of whom one
<br />we freeholders, by their petition have represented that the said �-
<br />lage is the center of a very considerable trade, and by their petition
<br />do pray for the incorporation of the said village and neighborhood y
<br />a village.
<br />And whereas it is expedient to grant the prayer of said petition.
<br />Be it therefore enacted by the Municipal Council of the G
<br />m6ou of the (county of Essex, in Council assembled, under su'16-
<br />virum of the Municipal Institutions - Ant of Ontarna, as follows ; y
