A BY -LAW To roalw�rovi.4ion for the manner in which a By- Lsrw'io authoriss ]iunicipal Council of the County of Essex to raise upon the Credit of the Consolidated Municipal Loan Find, the sum of X8,0wl fad the purpose of building a New Gaol and Court House fot the ssa of the County of Esser, shall he passed. [Passed 24th January, 1855' WHZRZAB the Municipal Council of the County of Es"I resolved to build a new Gaol and Court House for the use of tbs County of Esser, in the 'Town of Sandwich ; and whereas the sod Council are desirous of availing themselves of the provisions of the Act 18 Victoria chapter twenq -two, entitled "An Act to a tshr*h a Consolidated Municipal Loan Fund for Upper Canada," and whe" As said Act requires that each County Council shall make s By -lAw to provide the banner in which -the decision of each Municipality a the dectoro thereof, shall be made known, as to whether a By -Law shall be prssed to raise the said sum of eight thousand pounds by wa)of Loan upon the credit of the Wd Consolidated Municipal Loan Fund Act. % it therefore enacted by the Municipal Council of the County of Esser in Council assembled, under and by virtue of the "Upper Cu*h Municipal Corporations Act of 1849;' and also of the Act 18 Victorw chapter twenty-two, entitled "An Act to establish a Consolidated Vunicil►al Loan Fund for Upper Canada," that the manner in whicl the By-Law for raising the sum of eight thousand pounds upon the 'red" of the Consolidated Municipal Loan Fund Act, for building a sew Gaol and Court House in the Town of Sandwich, for the use of th$ County of Esser, $ball be passed, aball be by the majority of votes of the Municipalities approving or disapproving the samey and the manna is Rhkh the decision of each Municipality shall be made known to the Caty Clerk $hall be by a certificate under the hand of the Township, Tow%or Village Clerk of each Municipality. 1, H.
