A BY -LAW TO FROYIDE FOR THR aALAalsa 01 LOCAL SVP191"N 1C1OOSS * or &Hool^ AHn Volt OTUZR PQAPOana !9l AXIIe COIfTAINXV- • 1QAI PARM Jvles 14th, WhereasS it is necessary to provide for the salaries of Local 8uperun- tendents of Schools. - • Be it enacted, by the Municipal Ccmneil of the United Counties of Essex and Lambton, that there be raised, levied and collected, upon the rateable property of each of the Townships in the United COuntilw+ � the same manner and in addition to all other rates and assessments m each and every year, such sum as may be adequate to pay the salaries of each Local Superintendent for that Township, after the rate prescribed by the Statute 13th and 14th Victuria, chapter 48, •that is , one pound per School, together amounting to the sum of ninety Ow,vpowxk and apportioned to the several Townships aforesaid respectively, as shown in the Schedule at the end of this By -Law, together with five per cent. added thereon, to provide for costs of collection and possible defalcation. And whereas, it is also necessary .to provide for the incidental expenses connected with. the meetings and pgooeedings of the of Publio Instruction. of 0 Be it enacted, that there be raised, leriet llected, in the County of Easez, to foray a contingent School Fund to provide for the expenses of the Circuit Boged of Publio Instruction of the County of Essex, the sum of forty pounds over and above the expenses of levying and collect. ing the same, the o mtn'butions or Wes from the Townships in the acid County of Essex, for rai8ing the said sum, to vary in proportian to them, shares of the Legislative School Grant respectively- And be it further enacted, that there be raised, levied and collecUd, in the County Of Lambton, to form a contingent School Fund, to provide for the dcpenses of the Circuit Board of Public Instruction for the Counr ty of Lambton, the am of twenty Ave pounds, over and above the costs and charges of collecting th4 same, the contributions or levies frow the Toww&ips in the said County of IAxibton, to vary according to their shin•" of the Wslative &hool Grant conning to theta respectively.
