WssRBAa it is necessary to pmvido the sum of three thousand two bpndred and seventy -fire pounds to defray the expenses of the United Ceunties for the present year. Be it therefore enacted, by the Municipal Council of the United Coun- tW of Essex and Lambton, 1. T1W the aforesaid sum of three thousand two hundred and seventy fff pounds shall be raised, levied and collected, upon the whole rateable ?Mperty of the said United Counties, in addition to all other Rates and Moments for and during the present year for the general purposes of the United Counties, together with five per cent, added to the said &want to cover the expenses of collection, and probable defaleatios. IL And be it further enacted that the burthen of the said Assessment or levy of three thousand two hundred and seventy five pounds be portioned amongst, and borne by the several Townsbipa, and the Town d Amberstburg, in the said United Counties, in the proportion or shares kreinafter named; and that the sum set opposite to the name of each Township or union of Townships, and the Town of Amherstoarg, is the Schedule hereunto attached, be raised levied and collected therein on the gaeable Property in sack, respectively, as and for the County Rats, to beapl,lied, when collected, for the general purposes aforesaid of th@ . aid United Counties.
