<br />The Corporation of the County of Essex <br />By-Law Number 2022-22 <br />A By-law to Amend By-law Number 26-2002, Being a By- <br />law to Regulate Traffic and Parking on Highways within <br />the Essex County Roads System. <br />Whereas By-law Number 26-2002, being a by-law to regulate traffic <br />and parking on highways within the Essex County Roads System, was <br />adopted by the Corporation of the County of Essex on October 16th, 2002; <br />And Whereas Section 5.1 (a)(i) of By-law Number 26-2002 provides <br />that the Highways and/or parts of Highways set out in Schedule D of the by- <br />law, are designated as ‘Though Highways’, from the limits set out in Column <br />2 of Schedule D to the limits set out in Column 3 of Schedule D; <br />And Whereas Section 5.1 (a)(ii) of By-law Number 26-2002 provides <br />that a Through Highway shall not include any intersection where traffic <br />control signs are installed; <br />And Whereas Section 5.1 (a)(iii) of By-law Number 26-2002 provides <br />that the stop signs be erected at the intersections listed in Schedule "E" of <br />By-law Number 26-2002; <br />And Whereas it is deemed appropriate and expedient that a Stop <br />Sign be erected on County Road 34 for both eastbound and westbound <br />traffic, where it intersects with County Road 27, which intersection is under <br />the jurisdiction of the Corporation of the County of Essex, thereby making <br />this intersection an ‘All-Way Stop’; <br />And Whereas, to give effect to the above an amendment to Schedule <br />D and Schedule E of By-law Number 26-2002 is required; <br />Now therefore the Council of the Corporation of the County of Essex <br />hereby enacts as follows:
