<br />The Corporation of the County of Essex <br />By-Law Number 2023-09 <br />A By-law to Amend By-law Number 26-2002, Being a By- <br />law to Regulate Traffic and Parking on Highways within <br />the Essex County Roads System. <br />Whereas By-law Number 26-2002, being a by-law to regulate traffic <br />and parking on highways within the Essex County Roads System, was <br />adopted by the Corporation of the County of Essex on October 16th, 2002; <br />And Whereas Section 5.3(b) of By-law Number 26-2002 provides <br />that, pursuant to the provisions of The Highway Traffic Act, the Municipality <br />has deemed that public safety is of a special concern on the Highways set <br />forth in Column 1 of Schedule “I”, at the locations described in Column 2, <br />and during the Times set forth in Column 3 of the said Schedule; <br />Now therefore the Council of the Corporation of the County of Essex <br />hereby enacts as follows: <br />1) THAT Schedule “I”, Section 5.3(b) of By-law Number 26-2002 <br />be amended by the addition of the following Community Safety <br />Zone designation: <br />Column 1 Column 2 Column 3 <br />County <br />Road Name <br />Location Time <br />12 In the Hamlet of Gesto, in the Town of Essex, <br />from 620m west of Gesto Sideroad to 620m <br />east of Gesto Sideroad. <br />24 Hours/Day <br />7 days per week <br />January to December
