Countv of <br />Essex <br />The Corporation of the County of Essex <br />By-Law Number 4L-2OL7 <br />A By-law to Appoint the Chief Administrative Officer , <br />Robert Maisonville, as Deputy Clerk for the Corporation of <br />the County of Essex. <br />Whereas Section 228(2) of The Municipal Act 2001, S.O. 2OOI, Chapter 25, <br />authorizes a municipality to appoint a Deputy Clerk who shall have all the <br />powers and duties of the Clerk under this and every other Act; <br />Now therefore the Council of the Corporation of the County of Essex hereby <br />enacts as follows: <br />That Robert Maisonville, Chief Administrative Officer, be <br />appointed Deputy Clerk for the Corporation of the County of <br />Essex. <br />That, in the event the Clerk is unable to carry out her duties <br />through illness or otherwise, the Deputy Clerk shall exercise all <br />the powers and perform all the duties of the Clerk under the <br />Municipal Act, 2007 and every other Act. <br />All other By-laws inconsistent with this By-law are hereby <br />repealed. <br />This By-law shall come into force and take effect after the final <br />passing. <br />1 <br />2 <br />3 <br />4
