WHERF_AS THE GENERAL WRIRARE ASSISTANCE ACT, R.S.O. 1980 Chapter 18~ and the regulations thereur~-r hereinafter called the "ACT", authorized the County to enter into an agre~s~ent with ~_n5, person operating a licensed lodging hc~e for the furnishing of such lodging hcme care as is agreed upon and for making such expenditures as are necessary for that AND WHEREAS the Operator now operates a licensed lodging hc~e within the County of Essex. ASD WHEF~AS the County and the Operator have agreed that if the Operator provides lodging h~t~ care to cer~{ n adult persons re- ferred to the Operator by the County, the County will, subject to the te~ms and conditic~s of this agreement, make cere~n payments to the Opera- tot. NCW ~-C'P._m THIS ~ WI'ilqESSETH that in considera- tion of the mut,~l covenants contained herein, the parties covenant and agree as follows: 1. From the 'effective date of this agr~t as set forth in paragraph 4, the Operator agrees to provide lodging hcme care in accordance with the Act as ~mended and the regulations thereto to any person in res- pect of which a pa!a~ent is made by the County under paragraph 2. For each person the County approves for the p~oviding of lodging hcme care by the Operator, the County agrees to pay to the Operator the sun of $ ~l.55per day, or such other amount as may be agreed upon frc~ tim~ to tim~, between the parties hereto. * Subject to chanse upon approval by the County and the Ministry of Community and Sociel Services.
