BY -LAW NUMBER 2010 <br />A BY -LAW OF THE COUNTY OF ESSEX TO APPOINT WEED <br />INSPECTORS FOR THE COUNTY OF ESSEX AND FIXING THE <br />RENUMERATION FOR THE SAID POSITION <br />WHEREAS under the provision of Section 6 (1) of the <br />Weed Control Act, R. S. 0. 1970, Chapter 493, and amendments thereto, the <br />Council of every County shall pass By -laws appointing one or more persons <br />as inspectors and fixing the renumerations and other compensation for their <br />services under the said Act; <br />AND WHEREAS the Council deems it advisable to rescind <br />all by -laws heretofore passed and in force appointing weed inspectors and <br />amending such by -laws; <br />NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the <br />County of Essex enacts as follows: <br />(1) That Mr. Leonard Campbell of the Township of Mersea <br />in the County of Essex, be and is hereby appointed as a weed inspector for <br />the County of Essex to carry out and perform the duties required of him <br />under the provisions of the Weed Control Act and any amendments thereto and <br />regulations passed thereunder. <br />(2) Mr. Harry Chauvin of the Town of Tilbury, in the <br />County of Kent, be and is hereby appointed as a weed inspector for the <br />County of Essex to carry out and perform the duties required of him under <br />the provisions of the Weed Control Act and any amendments thereto and <br />regulations passed thereunder. <br />(3) That the said Weed Inspectors shall be paid a rate <br />of three dollars ($3.00) for each hour during which he is engaged in the <br />performance of his duties under the said Act and Regulations, and in addition <br />shall be paid his mileage incurred thereby at thirteen cents (.13¢) per mile, <br />and in addition shall be paid all out -of- pocket expenses incurred in the <br />performance of his duties as weed inspector. <br />(4) That the said weed inspectors shall hold office <br />during the pleasure of the Council and until this by -law is rescinded. <br />(5) That all other by -laws inconsistent to this by -law <br />be hereby repealed. <br />(6) That this by -law shall become effective as of the <br />first day of March, 1972 upon the final passing thereof. <br />Read the necessary timesand finally passed this lst <br />day of March , 1972. 7_ <br />arden <br />1st reading - March 172 <br />2nd reading - March 172 <br />3rd reading - March 172 De ty Cle c <br />CLERKtS CERTIFICATE <br />I, Peter Cramp, Deputy Clerk of the Corporation of the <br />County of Essex, do hereby certify that the above By -law Number 2010 <br />is a true and correct copy passed by the Essex County Council in open session <br />at the March 1, 1972 Session. <br />r T. ,a e - <br />Pe r Cra eputy Clerk <br />orporation of the County of Essex <br />
