E.A.P. - Municipal Employment Program <br /> - Enhanced Municipal Job <br /> Developer Program <br /> "Ongoing" <br /> <br />BETWEEN: <br /> <br /> This Agreement made in duplicate <br /> <br />Her Majesty the Queen in right of Ontario, as represented by <br />The Minister of Community and Social Services <br /> <br /> (hereinafter referred to as "Ontario") <br /> <br />AND <br /> <br />THE CORPORATION OF THE COUNTY OF ESSEX <br /> <br />(hereinafter referred to as "the Program Provider") <br /> <br />WHEREAS Ontario has the authority pursuant to the Ministry of Community and <br />Social Services Act, R.S.O. ]980, c. 273, s. 8, and the General Welfare <br />Assistance Act Reg. 441, Clause 1(1)(5), s. 17, ss. 21(4) to enter into this <br />program agreement for the provision of employment-related services. <br /> <br />AND WHEREAS the Program Provider has agreed to provide employment-related <br />services to clients under the Municipal Employment Program. <br /> <br />THEREFORE THE PARTIES agree as follows: <br /> <br />DEFINITIONS <br /> <br />1. In this agreement, <br /> <br />(a) "Ministry" means the Ministry of Community and Social Services. <br /> <br />(b) "Ministry Staff" means the staff of the Ministry authorized to <br /> exercise the rights and perform the duties of Ontario under <br /> this agreement. <br /> <br />PROORAM AND STAFFING <br /> <br />The Program Provider agrees to provide services in accordance with the <br />attached Program Description Schedule and in accordance with the policies <br />and requirements of tile Ministry as communicated to it and to provide staff <br />as outlined in the attached Staffing Schedule. <br /> <br />CONSULTATION <br /> <br />The Program Provider agrees that the staff providing services pursuant to <br />this agreement will, upon reasonable request, be available for consultation <br />with Ministry staff. <br /> <br />MINISTRY INSPECTION <br /> <br />The Program Provider will permit Ministry staff to enter at reasonable <br />times any premises used by the Program Provider in connection with the <br />provision of services pursuant to this agreement and under its control in <br />order to: <br /> <br />(a) observe and evaluate the services; and <br /> <br />(b) inspect all records relating to the services provided pursuant to <br /> this agreement. <br /> <br />REPORTS <br /> <br />The Program Provider will maintain program records and prepare and submit <br />annually or at any time upon reasonable request a comprehensive report <br />respecting tile services being provided pursuant to this agreement. The <br />reports will be in a form acceptable to Ministry staff. <br /> <br /> <br />
