Countv of <br />Essex <br />The Corporation of the County of Essex <br />By-Law Number 37-2OL7 <br />A By-law to authorize the purchase of part of 19O15 <br />Lakeside Drive, Lakeshore from Frances Rose Martens and <br />Ronald William Martens, <br />Whereas in or about October 2015 the County of Essex constructed <br />certain improvements to the intersection of Lakeside Drive and Tisdelle Drive <br />(County Road 39); <br />And Whereas sometime after that construction, it was discovered that a <br />portion of the gravel shoulder at this intersection was actually constructed on <br />a portion of 19015 Lakeside Drive, Lakeshore, which property is owned by <br />Frances Rose Martens and Ronald William Martens; <br />And Whereas Mr. and Mrs. Martens have requested that the County of <br />Essex purchase that portion of their property designated as Part 1 on <br />Reference Plan 12R-27044, upon which is located the gravel shoulder referred <br />to above, and the Council of the Corporation deems it appropriate to grant <br />that request and to purchase the said land; <br />Now therefore the Council of the Corporation of the County of Essex hereby <br />enacts as follows: <br />1) The Corporation of the County of Essex shall purchase from Frances <br />Rose Martens and Ronald William Martens that portion of 19015 <br />Lakeside Drive, Lakeshore, legally described as part of Lot 1, <br />Registered Plan L624, in the Town of Lakeshore, in the County of <br />Essex, now designated as Part 1 on Reference Plan 12R-27O44 for a <br />purchase price of $1,500.00, plus expenses incurred by Mr. and Mrs. <br />Martens with a surveyor, plus a proportionate share of the property <br />taxes that would have applied to Part 1 on Reference Plan 12R-27044 <br />from October 2OL5 to and including August 20L7.
