Countv of <br />Essex <br />The Corporation of the County of Essex <br />By-Law Number 33-2OL7 <br />A By-law to Authorize the Operation of a Paramedic Bike <br />Patrol and the Acquisition of Assets from the Windsor <br />Paramedic Bike Patrol Association. <br />Whereas the Windsor Paramedic Bike Patrol Association, which has been <br />in operation since 1998, has decided to disband in 2017, thereby discontinuing <br />the service it has been providing; <br />And Whereas Council has determined that providing paramedic service <br />through the use of a bike patrol to festivals, marathons and other public <br />events, on a cost recovery basis, is a service that should be continued by the <br />Essex-Windsor EMS; <br />And Whereas the Corporation agrees to accept the donation from the <br />Windsor Paramedic Bike Patrol Association of all of its physical and financial <br />assets in order to allow Essex-Windsor EMS to begin providing a paramedic <br />bike patrol service; <br />Now therefore the Council of the Corporation of the County of Essex hereby <br />enacts as follows: <br />1) That Council hereby agrees that the Essex-Windsor EMS begin a <br />program to provide a paramedic bike patrol service to various public <br />events on terms and conditions as may be determined by County <br />Administration from time to time. <br />2) That the County hereby accepts the donation from the Windsor <br />Paramedic Bike Patrol Association of the various assets of the <br />Association, which assets are listed on the Bill of Sale attached hereto. <br />3) That the Warden and the Clerk of the Corporation be and the same are <br />hereby authorized to execute and affix the Corporation's seal to any and <br />all documents that may be necessary to complete the transfer of these
