I Real Property may be sold by public tender, by call for proposal, by listing <br />with a real estate firm or broker, by Real Property exchange, by auction, <br />by private Sale, or in such other manner as County Council deems <br />appropriate in the circumstances. <br /> <br />2.7 SALE PRICE <br /> <br />County Council may authorize the Sale of land for less than its fair market Value <br />if in the opinion of County Council it is in the best interests of the County to do <br />so. <br /> <br />2.8 TERMS OF DISPOSITION <br /> <br />2.8. I The agreement of Purchase and Sale shall be prepared in accordance with <br />the terms and conditions that County Council has deemed appropriate in <br />the circumstances. <br /> <br />2.8.2 Upon confimlation by the Clerk that the agreement of Purchase and Sale is <br />in accordance with County Council directions, the Warden and Clerk shall <br />be authorized to take all actions and execute all documentation required to <br />complete the Sale. <br /> <br />SECTION 3 - GENERAL PROVISIONS <br /> <br />3.1 NON - FETTERING <br /> <br />Nothing will fetter the discretion of County Council to retain Real Property or to <br />sell Real Property on such tenns and conditions as may be determined by County <br />CotillciI, to whomever County Council deems appropriate, regardless of whether <br />the Sale is to the Person who mayor may not have presented the highest offer. <br /> <br />3.2 SHORT TITLE <br /> <br />This by-law will be known and may be cited as the "Property Sale By-law". <br /> <br />3.3 EFFECTIVE DATE <br /> <br />This by-law will come into force and take effect on the date of passing. <br /> <br />3.4 REPEALING <br /> <br />By-law No. 19-2003 is hereby repealed upon the passing of this by-law. <br /> <br />II <br />
