THE CORPORATION OF THE COUNTY OF ESSEX <br />BY -LAW NUMBER 28 -2008 <br />A BY -LAW TO AUTHORIZE THE SIGNING OF AN <br />AGREEMENT OF PURCHASE AND SALE AND ALL <br />OTHER RELATED DOCUMENTS BETWEEN THE <br />CORPORATION OF THE COUNTY OF ESSEX AND <br />JOHN ZACK & SONS LTD. <br />WHEREAS the Essex - Windsor Solid Waste Authority deems it necessary to acquire <br />lands adjacent to the former Essex County Landfill Site No. 3, as a buffer zone in <br />compliance with Ministry of Environment Guideline B -7 for Closed Landfill Sites; <br />AND WHEREAS The Corporation of the County of Essex, on behalf of the Essex - <br />Windsor Solid Waste Authority, has entered into an offer to purchase two parcels of land <br />owned by John Zack & Sons Ltd., being <br />(a) 1.14 acres of the parcel of land known as 1000 Puce Road and located <br />in part of Lot 16, Concession 4, in the Town of Lakeshore, Geographic <br />Township of Maidstone, in the County of Essex; and <br />(b) 4.2 acres of the parcel land known as 1034 Puce Road and located in <br />the south part of Lot 15, Concession 4, in the Town of Lakeshore, <br />Geographic Township of Maidstone, in the County of Essex; <br />NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the County of Essex enacts as <br />follows: <br />THAT the Warden and Clerk be and they are hereby authorized to <br />execute all documents related to the purchase of the said property by <br />the Corporation of the County of Essex, <br />2.
