THE CORPORATION OF THE COUNTY OF ESSEX BY -LA':V # 58-2006 BEING ABY -LAW T'D CONFIRM THE P'ROCEEDING,SOF THE CO,UNCIL OF THE CO'RPORATION OF THE COUNTY OF ESSEX WHEREAS under Section 5(1) oftlleAJunicijJalAct, 2001, S.O. 2001, c.25 as all1ended, tIle !Jowers of a IIIUllicil)ality shall be ex,ercised by its Council; alId WHEREAS uIlder Section 5(3) oftlleA1llnicipal 2001, S.O. 2001, c.25 as all1ended, a 111Unici}Jal power, including a 111unicipality"s capacity, rigllts, !Jowers and privileges under Section 8 of tlle MlJJlicipal Act, 2001, S.O,. 2001, c.25 as alnended, shall be exercised by by-law ullless tIle Illunicipality is specifically autllorized to do otlleIwise; and; WHEREAS it is deell1ed expedieIlt that tIle proceedings of tIle Council of The Corporation of Essex at this Session be COllfilllled al1d adOIJted by by-law. NOW THEREFORE the COUl1Cil of The COI1JOration of tIle 'County of Essex enacts as follows: 1. THAT tIle actiollS of tIle Council of TIle Corporation of tIle County of Essex itl respect of all recolll111,endatioIls in repol1s of conl111ittees, allll1otiollS and resolutions atld all other actioIl passed and taken by tIle Council of The Corporation of tlleCoullty of Essex, doeUlllents and tratlsactions entered into during the August 9th, 2006, Regular Session of Council, are hereby adopted and confillned, as if tIle saIne were eXIJressly elllbodied in tl1is By-law. 2. THAT tIle Warden WId IJroper officials of The Corporation of the County of Essex are hereby autllorized and directed to do all the tllingsnecessary to give effect to tIle action of tIle Council of The Corporation of tIle County of Essex during tIle said August 9th, 2006, Regular Session refel1~ed to in Section 1 of tllis By-law. 3. THAT tIle Warden atld tIle Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to exec'ute all docUll1ents necessary to tIle action taken by tl1is Council as described ill Section 1 oftllis By-law and to affix tIle Corporate Seal of The Corporatioll of tIle County of Essex to all docUll1ents refelTed to in said Section 1.
