<br />CORPORA TION OF THE COUNTY OF ESSEX <br /> <br />BY-LA W # 06-2005 <br /> <br />A BY-LAW TO AUTHORIZE THE EXECUTION OF AN AMENDING <br />AGREEMENT BETWEEN HER MAJESTY THE QUEEN, IN RIGHT OF <br />ONTARIO, AS REPRESENTED BY THE MINISTER OF HEALTH AND <br />LONG -TERM CARE AND THE CORPORATION OF THE COUNTY OF <br />ESSEX. <br /> <br />WHEREAS the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care (Ministry) has initiated a <br />program in response to an awareness of the increasing need for the replacement of aging <br />medical diagnostic and treatment equipment and has established an allocation for each <br />long-term care home; <br /> <br />AND WHEREAS the Corporation of the County of Essex-Sun Parlor Home has <br />received written notification of the said allocation; <br /> <br />AND WHEREAS the Ministry wishes to establish the terms under which funding <br />for the medical diagnostic and treatment equipment will be provided; <br /> <br />AND WHEREAS the Corporation of the County of Essex and the Ministry of <br />Health and Long-Term Care have entered into a Long-Term Care Facility Service <br />Agreement: <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the County of Essex <br />enacts as follows: <br /> <br />1. THAT the Warden and Clerk be authorized to execute and deliver on <br />behalf of the Corporation of the County of Essex the said Amending <br />Agreement, and that the acts of said officers of this Corporation who may <br />have already executed and delivered said Agreement are hereby ratified <br />and confIrmed as the acts of this Corporation. <br /> <br />2.
