Page 2 Bylaw Number 3162-95 (cont'd) AND WHEREAS residential and commercial/industrial millrates will be calculated for County general purposes and for County Library purposes; AND WHEREAS the calculation of County and Library millrates will require the allocation of payments in lieu of taxes and telephone and telegraph receipts between County general purposes and County Library purposes; AND WHEREAS it is necessary to apportion a levy required for County general purposes among all local municipalities and a levy required for County Library purposes among the County municipalities participating in the Essex County Library System; NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE COUNTY OF ESSEX enacts as follows: THAT the 1995 residential assessment in the amount of $ 450,109,994 and commercial/industrial assessments in the amount of $ 128,410,706 as detailed in Schedule 3 attached hereto and forming part of this bylaw, be adopted for purposes of calculating the millrates for County general purposes and for determining the levy on all County municipalities. THAT the 1995 residential assessment in the amount $ 406,194,090 and commercial/industrial assessments in the amount of $ 108,259,553 as detailed in Schedule 4 hereto and forming part of this bylaw, be adopted for calculating the millrates for County library purposes and for determining the levy on the municipalities participating in the Essex County Library System. o THAT the estimated share of payments in lieu of taxes and telephone and telegraph receipts for County general purposes in the amount of $ 406,264 as set out in Schedule 5 attached hereto and forming part of this bylaw be adopted. THAT the estimated share of payments in lieu of taxes and telephone and telegraph receipts for County Library purposes in the amount of $ 49,522 as set out in Schedule 5 attached hereto and forming part of this bylaw be adopted. THAT the amount to be raised by millrates for County general purposes in the amount of $12,333,378 as set out in Schedule 6 attached hereto and forming part of this bylaw be adopted.
