BY-LAW NUMBER 2898 <br /> <br />CORPORATION OF THE COUNTY OF ESSEX <br /> <br /> WHEREAS subsection 7 of Section 104a of the Highway Traffic Act (R.S.O4 <br />1980, c. 198) as amended provides that: <br /> <br /> The Municipal Corporation or other authority having jurisdiction over <br />a highway may by by-law designate the date on which a reduced load period <br />shall start or end and the highway or portion thereof under its jurisdiction <br />to which the designation applies; <br /> <br /> AND WHEREAS the reduced load period is deemed necessary for the <br />protection of certain highways in the Corporation of the County of Essex <br />and therefore the Council of the Corporation of the County of Essex enacts <br />as follows: <br /> <br />The provisions of subsections 1,2,3 and 4 of section 104a of The <br />Highway Traffic Act apply to the highways named in Schedule "A" <br />during the period from the 1st _day of March to the <br />30th day of April , inclusive in each and every year. <br />However, this period may be extended to cover the months of <br />February if the County Engineer deems it necessaryl <br /> <br />2. This by-law shall not become effective until appropriate signs <br /> have been erected and are on display. <br /> <br />The by-law is submitted to the Minister of Transportation and <br />Communications for filing pursuant to subsection 169 (2) of The <br />Highway Traffic Act, R.S.O. 1980, ch. 198. <br /> <br />4. Ail other by-laws inconsistent to this by-law are hereby repealed. <br /> <br />ENACTED AND PASSED this <br /> <br />1st reading-Feb. 20/91 <br />2nd reading-Feb. 20/91 <br />3rd reading-Feb. 20/91 <br /> <br />20th day oR February , 19 91 <br /> <br /> WARDEN <br /> <br />CLERK'S CERTIFICATE <br /> <br /> I, John H.
