PARLORI~tE FOR SENIOR CITIZENS - SUN MEMORANDUM OF ABREEMENT CAL DIRECTOR BETWEEN: THE CORPORATION OF THE COUNTY OF ESSEX (hereinafter referred to as "the Corporation") and DR. ROBERT PAGE (hereinafter referred to as "the Medical Director") WHEREAS the Corporation operates a home for the aged known as the Sun Parlor Home for Senior Citizens at 175 Talbot Street East, Leamington, Ontario (hereinafter referred to as "the home") and the Medical Director is a legally qualified medical practitioner ~ho has agreed to provide medical services to the residents of the home in accordance ~ith the requirements of applicable legislation; Now therefore in consideration of the sum of $1.00, other good and valuable consideration and in consideration of the covenance and promises contained in this Agreement the parties agree as follows: 1.0 The Medical Director will be responsible for the provision of medical care to residents of the home, including those in Community Support Home(s) operated by the Corporation. 2.1 The Medical Director will adhere to the requirements of the Homes for the Aqed and Rest Homes Act and the regulations made thereunder as exemplified in Appendix 'A" to this agreement and the policies established from time to time by the Ministry of Community and Social Services. 2.2 The Medical Director will at his own expense keep up to date with current knowledge and practice in geriatrics and gerontology. To this end, membership in the Ontario Association of Medical Directors of Homes for Senior Citizens is required. The Medical Director will maintain membership, for which the Corporation will reimburse the Medical Director the annual membership fee. 2.5 The Corporation will reimburse the Medical Director for actual expenses for registration, transportation and accommodation incurred for attendance at one related medical meeting~ annually, held in Ontario and approved by the Corporation.
