THE CORPORATION OF THE COUNTY OF ESSEX <br /> BY-LAW NUMBER 2838 <br /> <br />A BY-LAW TO APPOINT SPECIAL LEGAL REPRESENTATIVES FOR <br />THE CORPORATION OF THE COUNTY OF ESSEX IN A MATTER OF <br /> ARBITRATION <br /> <br /> WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the County of Essex deems it <br />advisable to have special legal representation in a matter of arbitration <br />which has arisen, namely the Corporation of the County of Essex vs. John T. <br />rtullins Sr. (Local 2974.1, C.U.P.E.). <br /> <br /> NOW THEREFORE THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE COUNTY OF <br />ESSEX ENACTS AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. That By-Law #2809, dated December 20, 1989, which states that the law <br /> firm of Bondy, O'Rourke, & Steffes is appointed as legal <br /> representatives for and on behalf of the Corporation of the <br /> <br /> the County of Essex, to perform legal and quasi-legal services of <br /> all kinds, as required from time to time, is not repealed or otherwise <br /> adversely effected. <br /> <br />2. That the law firm of Kavanaugh, Milloy et. al. is appointed as special <br /> legal representatives for and on behalf of the Corporation of the County <br /> of Essex, to perform legal services related to the matter as described <br /> in the preamble hereto. <br /> <br />3. That the said firm shall be paid in accordance with all services <br /> rendered and where possible as set forth in legal tariff in force at the <br /> date such services are rendered. <br /> <br />4. That the said firm of Kavanaugh, ~lilloy shall report to the County <br /> Administrator and/or Council on this specific matter and make any <br /> report as required, including a review of the services performed by <br /> the law firm on behalf of the County. <br /> <br /> <br />
