BY-LAW NUMBER 2487 A BY-LAW RESTRICTING WEIGHT OF LOADS ON HIGHWAYS DURING THE MONTHS OF FEBRUARY, MARCH AND APRIL. WHEREAS, The Highway Traffic Act, R. S. O. 1980, Chapter 198, §ection 104, Subsections 6, 7, 9, and 14 provides for the municipal corpora- tion or other authority having jurisdiction over any highway may declare the provisions of the Act to apply to highways under its jurisdiction. AND WHEREAS, Subsection 11 provides that the municipal corpora- tion or other authority having jurisdiction over any highway may declare the provisions of Subsections 6 and 14 to apply to highways under its jurisdiction during any period of the year. AND WHEREAS, it is in the public interest that the provisions of Subsection 6, 7, 9, and 14 be applied to highways under the jurisdiction of the Corporation of the County of Essex during the month of February, in addition, to the months of March and April during each and every year. NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the County of Essex enacts as follows: l) THAT the provisions of Subsections 6, 7, 9, and 14 of Section 104 of The Highway Traffic Act, R. S.
