BY -LAW NUMBER 2298 <br />A BY -LAW TO AMEND BY -LAW NUMBER 2262 DESIGNATING THROUGH <br />HIGHWAYS. <br />WHEREAS Section 135 of The Highway Traffic Act, S. 0. 1974, <br />Chapter 123, Section 1, Subsection 5 provides that: <br />"through highway" means any highway or part of a highway designated <br />as such by the Minister or by by -law of a municipality and every such highway <br />shall be marked by a stop sign or yield right -of -way sign in compliance with <br />the regulations of the Ministry. <br />AND WHEREAS it is desirable to amend By -law Number 2262, passed <br />on May 25, 1977. <br />NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the County of <br />Essex enacts as follows: <br />1. The following highways or parts of highways under the jurisdiction <br />of the County of Essex are designated as Through Highways: <br />COUNTY <br />ROAD <br />NUMBER FROM TO <br />2 Northern limit of King's Highway Easterly to the easterly limit of <br />Number 2 the boundary of the County of Kent <br />2. This By -law shall become effective upon the final passing thereof <br />when the signs are on display in compliance with the regulations <br />of the Ministry.
