* 1 <br />BY -LAW NUMBER 2285 <br />A BY -LAW OF THE COUNTY OF ESSEX FOR THE PURPOSE OF APPOINTING A <br />COUNTY ROAD COMMITTEE FOR THE YEARS AS LISTED THEREIN. <br />WHEREAS, Subsection 1 of Section 42 of The Highway Improve- <br />ment Act, being Chapter 201, as amended, R. S. 0. 1970 provides that a <br />County Council shall by by -law appoint three or five persons, resident of <br />the County of Essex, who need not be members of the County Council, who <br />shall constitute a committee for the purpose of directing the work to be <br />done on the County Roads System; <br />BE IT THEREFORE ENACTED and it is hereby enacted by the <br />Municipal Council of the Corporation of the County of Essex as follows: <br />1. THAT Mr. Ernest Martin be appointed and he <br />is hereby appointed a member of the Essex County Road Committee for the <br />year 1978. <br />2. THAT Mr. Omer Oriet be appointed and he <br />is hereby appointed a member of the Essex County Road Committee for the <br />term of two years beginning with January 1, 1978. <br />3. THAT Mr. Jack Menard be appointed and he <br />is hereby appointed a member of the Essex County Road Committee for the <br />term of three years beginning with January 1, 1978. <br />4. THAT Mr. John Dick be appointed and he <br />is hereby appointed a member of the Essex County Road Committee for the <br />term of four years beginning with January 1, 1978. <br />5. THAT Mr. Marcel St. Pierre be appointed and he <br />is hereby appointed a member of the Essex County Road Committee for the <br />term of five years beginning with January 1, 1978. <br />6.
