WATERMAIN AGREEMENT THIS AGREEMENT made in triplicate the 30th day of BETWEEN THE CORPORATION OF THE COUNTY OF ESSEX hereinafter called the County OF THE FIRST PART November. 19 77 -and- THE TOWNSHIP OF ROCHESTER hereinafter called the Township OF THE SECOND PART WHEREAS the County has received a request from the Town- ship to lay, use and maintain a watermain of 2 inch diameter for transmission of water on County Road ~2, Charron Line Road in Lot A, Concession 1, E.B.R. and Lot 8, Concession between Ruscom and Belle River in the Township of Rochester. NOW THEREFORE THIS AGREEMENT made in consideration of the premises and of the covenants and obligations hereinafter con- tained on the part of the Township. witnesseth as follows: THE COUNTY Authorizes the laying of a 2 inch diameter plastic water- main commencing at a point 6 feet north of the plug in the existing 12 inch diameter watermain at the south west corner of Tecumseh Road and Charron Line Road; thence westery parallel to Tecumseh Road to a point 1 foot east of the westerly limit of the Charron Line Road; thence southerly parallel to the said westerly limit 700 feet more or less to a point; thence easterly under the Charron Line Road to a point 25 feet east of the east- erly limit of the Charron Line Road; thence southerly parallel to the east limit of Charron Line 1500 feet more or less to the end of installation, being the limits of the property occupied by Mr. G. Hammer. All according to County of Essex Plan Sketch SK 77-10, dated November 24, 1977. In crossing from the west side of Charron Line to the east side, the watermain shall be installed by means of boring beneath the roadway and at right angles to it. The depth of the watermain below ground level shall be a minimum of 5 feet.
