NUMBER 5-76 <br /> <br />Being a by-law of the Municipal Corporation of the Township <br />of Tilbury North to authorize the closing of part the Ten- <br />foot (10') east-west alley which abuts lots One Hundred and <br />Three (103) to One Hundred and Eleven (ill) inclusive and <br />lots Two Hundred and Sixty-Two (262) to lots ~h~o Hundred and <br />Seventy (270) inclusive to the South and lots One Hundred <br />and Twelve (112) and Two Hundred and Sixty-One (261) to the <br />North as shown on Registered Plan One Thousand, Two Hundred <br />and Fifty-Seven (1257) for the Township of Tilbury North. <br /> <br /> ~'~EREAS the Council of the Municipal Corporation of the Township of <br />Tilbury North has been requested to close part of the Ten-foot (10') east-west alley <br />which abuts lots One Hundred and Three (lO3) to One Hundred and Eleven (ill) inclu- <br />sive and lots Two Humlred and Sixty-Two (262) to lots Two Hundred and Seventy (270) <br />inclusive to the South and hots One Hundred and Twelve (ll2) and Two Hundred and <br />Sixty-One (261) to the North as shown on Registered Plan One Thousand, Two Hundred <br />and Fifty-Seven (1257) for the Township of 'Tilbury North, as described in Schedule "A" <br />hereto. <br /> <br /> AND I;HE~,]A[' it is expedient to close that part of the alley above <br />mentioned and to empower the Reeve to sell the lands; <br /> <br /> AND ~EP~]AS a written notice of Council's intention to pass a by-law to <br />close t~at part of the alley above mentioned has been posted up for one month in six <br />of the most public places in the immediate neighbourhood of the said alley, and on <br />each of the notices so posted was set out the part of the alley to be closed as <br />described above; <br /> <br /> ¥~EREAS printed notices giving notice of the Council's intention to pass <br />a by-law to close those parts of the said street in the said Township of Tilbury <br />North has been published for four consecutive weeks in the Tilbury Times, being a <br />newspaper published in the Town of Tilbury, in the County of Essex and on each of <br />the said notices so published was set out the part of the said alley to be closed <br />as described herein; <br /> <br /> BE IT THEREFORE ENACTED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE TOWN£HIP OF <br />TILBURY NORTH IN COUNCIL AS~{EI,[BLED PURSUANT TO THE MUNICIPAL ACT O? ONTARIO, and <br />it is hereby enacted under and by virtue o~' the same as follows~ <br /> <br />1. THAT a part of the ten foot (10') east-west alley which abuts lots <br />One Hundred and Three (10~) to One Hundred and Eleven (lll) inclusive and Lots Two <br />Hundred and Sixty-Two (262) to lots Two Hundred and Seventy (270) inclusive to the <br />South and lots One Hundred and Twelve (112) and Two Hundred and Sixty-One (261) to <br />the ~orth as shown on Registered Plan One Thousand, Two Hundred and ?tfty-Seven (1257) <br />for the Township of Tilbury North be stopped up. <br /> <br />2.
