BY-LAW NUMBER 2163 A BY-LAW OF THE COUNTY OF ESSEX FOR THE PURPOSE OF APPOINTING A COUNTY ROAD COMMITTEE FOR THE YEARS AS LISTED THEREIN. WHEREAS, Subsection 1 of Section 42 of The Highway Improvement Act, being Chapter 201, as amended, R.S.O. provides that a County Council shall by by-law appoint three or five persons, resident of the County of Essex, who need not be members of the County Council, who shall constitute a committee for the purpose of directing the work to be done on the County Roads System; AND WHEREAS, it is necessary to amend paragraphs 1,2,3, 4 and 5 of By-Law Number 2117 of the County of Essex and to add paragraph 6 to make such appointments to fill the said committee as follows: BE IT THEREFORE ENACTED and it is hereby enacted by the Municipal Council of the Corporation of the County of Essex as follows: 1. That Mr. Delmer Bridgen be appointed and he is here- by appointed a member of the Essex County Road Committee for the year 1975. 2. That Mr. Lloyd Bondy be appointed and he is hereby appointed a member of the Essex County Road Committee for the years 1975 and 1976. 3. That Mr. Fred Bistany be appointed and he is hereby appointed a member of the Essex County Road Committee for the term of three years beginning with January 1, 1975. 4. That Mr. Ernest Martin be appointed and he is hereby appointed a member of the Essex County Road Committee for the term of four years, beginning January 1, 1975. 5. That Mr. Omer Oriet be appointed and he is hereby appointed a member of the Essex County Road Committee for the term of five years beginning with January 1, 1975. 6. That the Warden of Essex County by Virtue of his office, be a member of the Essex County Road Committee for the year 1975. Ail other by-laws inconsistent to this by-law are hereby repealed. This by-law shall come into force and take effect upon the first day of January, 1975.
