BY -LAW NUMBER 2092 A BY -LAW OF THE CORPORATION OF THE COUNTY OF ESSEX CONFIRMING BY -LAW NUMBER 2699 OF THE TOWNSHIP OF MAIDSTONE, PASSED ON THE 27TH DAY OF AUGUST, 1973. WHEREAS the Township of Maidstone has passed a By -law for the purpose of closing of part of a road allowance which was opened by By -law Number 171, said By -law being of record in the Registry Office for the Registry Division of Essex (12) as instrument "By -law No. 42 ", and which said parcel or tract is composed of Part of Lot Sixteen (16) Concession Ten (10), containing by measurement 0.972 acres more or less, and which said parcel or tract of land may be more particularly described in Scnedule "A" attached to By -law 2699 of the Township of Maidstone, and to empower the Reeve and Clerk to sell the said lands. AND WHEREAS Section 443 of The Municipal Act, Chapter 284, R. S. 0. 1970, as amended, Subsection 6 (c) provided that before any such by -law enacted by the Council of the Township under Section 1 (c) shall come into force, it shall be confirmed by the Council of the County in which the Township is located; THEREFORE BE IT ENACTED and it is hereby enacted by the Council of the Corporation of the County of Essex as follows: (1) THAT By -law Number 2699 of the Township of Maidstone passed on the 27th day of August, 1973, a certified copy of which is hereto attached be and the same is hereby confirmed.
