The Corporation of the County of Essex <br />By -Law Number 69 -2013 <br />A By -law to authorize the purchase of part of Lot 19, <br />Concession 10 in the Town of Tecumseh (formerly the <br />Township of Sandwich South) from Azar Holdings Ltd. <br />Whereas the Environmental Assessment completed in 2009 for <br />County Road 43 recommended a widening of County Road 43 from two <br />lanes to four lanes north of County Road 42 and the elimination of the <br />offset intersection of County Road 43 (Banwell Road) and County Road <br />43 (Eleventh Concession) at County Road 42; <br />And Whereas the Corporation has been successful in <br />negotiating the purchase of some of the land required for the <br />realignment of the intersection of County Road 43 from Azar Holdings <br />Ltd., which lands are located in part of Lot 19, Concession 10, in the <br />Town of Tecumseh (formerly the Township of Sandwich South); <br />AND WHEREAS the Corporation deems it expedient to proceed <br />with the purchase of those lands on the terms and conditions as set <br />out herein; <br />Now therefore the Council of the Corporation of the <br />County of Essex hereby enacts as follows: <br />1. That the Corporation purchase from Azar Holdings Ltd., free and <br />clear of all encumbrances, those portions of Lot 19, Concession <br />10 in the Town of Tecumseh (formerly the Township of Sandwich <br />South), in the County of Essex now designated as Parts 5, 6, 8, <br />9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15 and 16 on Reference Plan 12R- 25489, <br />for a purchase price of $96,763.00. <br />
