I THE CORPORATION OF THE COUNTY OF ESSEX BY —LAW NUMBER 1958 A BY —LAW TO APPROVE AND AUTHORIZE THE EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CORPORATION OF THE COUNTY OF ESSEX AND THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF TECUMSEH. WHEREAS, Section 56 of The Public Transportation & Highway Improvement Act, R. S. 0. 1970, Chapter 201, as amended by Chapter 61, 1971, authorizes the Corporation of the County of Essex to enter into an agreement with its constituent urban municipalities which have county road extensions or connecting links in the County Road System but not forming part thereof within their borders for the maintenance of such roads as the public interest demands; AND WHEREAS the said agreements are intended to provide an equitable distribution of the county road funds between the urban and rural ! I j municipalities which make up the , 'Qounty Organization of the County of Essex; AND WHEREAS the agreement attached hereto and marked Schedule I ( "A" to this by —law is approved and authorized for the said purpose. I 1. That the agreement between the Corporation of the County j of Essex and The Corporation of the Town of Tecumseh dated 1 the 14th day of April, 1971 attached hereto and marked Schedule "A ", be and the same is hereby approved. h 2. That the Warden and Clerk of the Corporation of the County of Essex be and they are hereby authorized and empowered i ! to execute the said agreement under the seal of the Corpora— tion. 3. That this By —law shall come into force and take effect j immediately upon the final passing thereof or upon the final i passing of a by —law to authorize and approve of the said 1 agreement by the Corporation of the Town of Tecumseh which — it I ever shall be the later.
