2f BY -LAW No. 79. To appoint two persons to be members of the Board of Audit. Passed January 79th, 18A.;. Whereas, by the Consolidated Municipal Act, 1883, the County Council of sub County is required,st its first meeting in each year, to appoint two persons, not more than one of whom shall belong to such Council to be members of the Board of Audit, for auditing and approving accounts and demands preferred against the County. Be it therefore enacted by the Municipal Council of the corporation of the Cosnt7 of Essex in Council assembled that William T. Wilkinson, one of the members of the said Council, and Thomas McKee be and they are hereby appointed members of the said Board of Audit. And be it further enacted that the members of the said Board of Audit shall be paid the sum of four dollars each per day for their attendance at such audit, and the further sum of five cents per mile for each mile necessarily travelled by them is respect thereof in going to and from such audit, and the Warden is hereby authorised to sign warrants for the payment of the same. Passed January 29th, 1895. Whereas, under By -law No. 72, passed on the 14th day of June, 1884, a eertsis appropriation was made to be expended upon the roads and bridges in the County of Essex, as mentioned in said By -law. And whereas the whole of the said appropriation has not been expended. And whereas the duties of the Commissioners, under the said By -law, eessed 00 the 31st day of December, 1884, and it is desirable that new Commissimars should be appointed to expend the appropriation so made as aforesaid, and any fate" appropriations which may be made for the current year. Be it therefore enacted by the Council of the oorporation of the County of Essea, that the following persons be and they are hereby appointed Commissioners to expend the balance (if any) of the monies which have been appropriated for the improvement of roads and bridges in the County of Essex, under the said By -law No. 82, with all t6 the powers given, and the duties required to be performed under the same. And be it also enacted that the same persons are also appointed Commies to expend all monies which may be appropriated for roads and bridges of this Conseil for the current year Mderdon —H. H. Sandwich East —Henry Morand, Wm. D. O'Neil and Gilbert Bedells. Sandwich West -- Joseph Duroeher, Elisha McKee and Henry Lafrainboiee. Tilbury West —Peter Trembly, Israel Deajardius and Duncan McAlister. Amherstburg —Wm. T. Wilkinson, George Middleditch and Samuel McGee. Sandwich Town —James McKee. Belle River —F. P. Bouteiller.
