<br />And it is further enacted that all sumo payable under the second section of this
<br />gy.Law,shall be paid by the Treasurer of the County upon the certiAW pay lid d the
<br />Sheriff.
<br />And be it further enacted that the burthen of the several assessments above
<br />Tequired, sball be apportioned amongst and borne by the several municipalities in the
<br />proportion or shares hereinafter mentioned, and the several sums set opposite to the
<br />name of each Municipality in the schedule hereunder written, which schedule shall
<br />form part of this By -Law, shall be raised, levied and collected therein upon the whole
<br />rateable property in each, respeetively,for the several rates for which they are designed,
<br />and shall be paid over into the hands of the County Treasurer in the present year to
<br />be, by him, applied for the several purposes, mentioned in this By -Law.

<br />3y.Lsw to ebtablinh a High School in the County of Es"IL. June 14th,1884.
<br />passed Whereas it is necessary to establish a High School in the County of Essex.
<br />And whereas this Council has been prayed that such High School should be
<br />established at the Village of Essex Centre, in the said County.
<br />Aud whereas the Education Committee named and appointed at the last 80"ion of
<br />tlsid Council to invebtigate and report as to the advisablility of establishing such a
<br />gi& School and the place where the same should be established, have reported to
<br />this Counetl that a Highs School should be establiahed at the said Village of Essex
<br />Centre.
<br />Be it therefore enacted by the corporation of the County of 1 %esei, the Council
<br />thereof being duly convened and assembled, and it is hembv enwted, -That a High
<br />b,;boolshall be, and the sasne is hereby established in the Village of Esser Centre in
<br />the t,onnty of 1*4dwx, which shall be know" as " ":110 Essex County High %;Cl ."
