<br />To provide for the payment of qualified Public School Teachers arul School Inapeg
<br />tors for the year 1884.
<br />Passed June 14th, 188l.
<br />Whereas, it is necessary so as to entitle the several municipalities in the County of
<br />Essex to certain sums of money out of the Legislative Grant as apportioned by tte
<br />Minist of Education for the payment of salaries of legmMy qualified School Teachers,
<br />to assess the several municipalities in sums equal at least to the sums apportioW,
<br />clear of all charges of collection.
<br />And whereas, it is necessary to provide for the salaries of School Inspectors for the
<br />said County of Essex.
<br />And whereas, it will require the sum of four thousand, one hundred and twelve &I.
<br />Ism to be raised, levied and collected for the payment of qualified Public &ha,l
<br />Teachers, and a further sum of one thousand four hundred dollars for the payumt cd
<br />school Inspectors.
<br />Be it therefore emoted by the Council of the Corporation of the County of Easel, in
<br />(;oencil assembled, under and by virtue of Chapter 804 of the Revised Statutes of
<br />Ontario, and it is hereby enacted by the authority of the same that there shall be
<br />raised, levied and collected upon the whole ratable property in the several inwHei.
<br />polities in the County of Essex, save and eu:ept the Town of Amherstburg, in &U.
<br />Lion to all other rates and assessments, for the payment of qualified Public &hwl
<br />Teachers and School Inspectors the sum of five thousand five hundred and twelod
<br />dollars, and the several sums stt opposite the names of each Municipality in the
<br />schedule hereunder written, which schedule forms part of this By -Law, aha11 ton
