<br />Council to confirm a certain By -Law passed by theta, a mpy of w}tieb is in the words
<br />and figures following :—
<br />"By-lAw No. 158.
<br />To close that portion of King Street not th of Albert Street, between Lute; numbers
<br />"eight and nine, in the Village of Ruthven.
<br />.,Be it enacted by the Municipal Council of the Corporation of the Torwhip of
<br />..GoeSeld.
<br />"That whereas, J. H. Wigle and others have petitioned this Council to close the
<br />,sliest hereinafter set forth and described,
<br />"And whereas, public notice has been given as required by the Consoiidwtk l Munici-
<br />pal Act, INS, of the intention of this Conseil to pass a By -Law for closing the street
<br />--hereinafter get forth and described, and all persons whose Iands might bo prcjudici-
<br />,,ally affected thereby have been heard, who petitioned to be beard.
<br />',Andwhersas, this Council has determined and agreed to close the street I :;rtiu-
<br />after ad forth and described.
<br />"Be it therefore enacted by the Municipal Counoil of the Corporation of the To wl-
<br />-ship of Gosfield, That that portion of. King Street north of Albert. Street, het v wa
<br />Lots numbers Eight and Nine, to the Village of Ruthven, and the santc i•+ ' . rc �y
<br />'•stopped up and closed.
<br />..Finally passed the 34th day of September, 1983.

<br />Which copy is certified to by the Clerk of the said Township of GosUld, as being a
<br />tree copy of a ]gy -Lady finally passed by the said Council on the 34th day of Septets.

<br />And whereas, it appears to this Council that all the provisions of Section 50 of
<br />,The Consolidated Municipal Act, 1883." have been complied with by the said Council
<br />of the Township of Gosfteld, and that their prayer should be granted.
<br />Be it therefore enacted by the Municipal Council of the Corporation of the CoutttY
<br />of Essex, under and by virtue of the Act above mentioned, that By -Law No. 158 of
<br />she Township of Goefield, in the County of Essex, entituled, "A By -Law, No. tats to

<br />tad Nine in the Village of Ruthven," be and the same is hereby oonfirmal.
<br />This By -Law shall take of %et immediately after the passing thereof.
